Elemental Rugs are made entirely by hand using fleeces from small local farms. No dyes or bleaches are used and so these rugs are very kind to the environment; the process is fully sustainable and sheep-friendly.

The method of weaving with a peg loom produces a rug that is warm, soft and thick, though not suitable for hard wear and tear, as the weave is more open and loose than that resulting from a commercial manufacturing process. No two Elemental rugs are the exactly the same. Each is unique, crafted by hand with care and loving-kindness. Patterns are created by blending fleeces from sheep of different breeds, or from the natural colour variation within a single fleece.

The rugs are washable and reversible.
